Vol. 5, Issue #2 – March & April 2019

make it

matter

a message from our CEO

The start of the year faced legislation changes, minimum wage increases, and environmental concerns that have kept the discussion active and information ongoing. Our calendar is filled with opportunities to gather in the upcoming weeks to build a vibrant 2019. With an outpouring of positivity, our Thrive in 105 milestone launch has been met with a constant flow of new business, ideas and developments that continue to redefine our economy.

On social media, features such as Chamber Close ups, campaigns including members involved in Chocolate Week and Wedding Road Show, The LBI Region Report Radio Show, as well as our focus on First Responders help galvanize the region, highlight our members and promote our destination. Along with our business events, we have some very special anniversary events happening this spring including Meet me at the Chamber Happy Hour, Get Acquainted Summer Party at Fantasy Island and our 105th Anniversary Gala at Parker’s Garage. Check out our Thrive in 105 dedicated webpage and hope to see you there!
