Remembering Timothy Kohlheim

It is with sincere sorrow that we learned of the passing of Timothy Kohlheim, owner of the Shore Fire Grille restaurants. Our sympathies go out to his beautiful family and those who knew him. We are thankful for the time and talent Tim shared with us and the legacy he has left in our business community. He will be missed by all. Tim was an active member of our chamber; he was recognized at our 2014 Centennial Anniversary Award Gala as an distinguished Entrepreneur for his ability to expand his restaurant during the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, Shore Fire Grille competed in Chowderfest and earned Rookie of the Year and 3rd place for their red in 2013 and placed 3rd again in 2016. We worked closely with Tim to provide office support for the LBI Job Fair that he coordinated each spring. He will be missed by all.

Meet the Nugent and Magaziner Families

The freshest seafood from the ocean and bay. That was the single most important philosophy from the start and it remains today. The Tide Table Group consists of Ship Bottom Shellfish, Mud City Crab House, the Black Whale Bar & Fish House, Old Causeway Steak & Oyster House, Parker’s Garage & Oyster Saloon, and Bird & Betty’s. And in each of these successful establishments, fresh seafood has been the key.
